I wish Reddit had a way to sort by ‘worst of all time’ but going by my ‘controversial’ comments, it’s either something feminist or it’s for having an opinion in SquaredCircle, the pro wrestling sub.
The SquaredCircle community here is still nice because there’s not a lot of people yet but on Reddit, the biggest sin that you can commit is having an not mainstream opinion about something.

I suggest you go down in flames on reddit. It’s not hard, just post something that’s fuck Musk and pro Luigi. Then for good measure upvote lots of similar posts. You’ll be banned before you finish upvoting!
I’m already banned lol, I just haven’t deleted and closed shop yet. And believe it or not, the comment that got me banned was me shitting on the manosphere, in a subreddit that was literally meant for shitting on misogyny.
There are a few hot button topics that seem to garner huge numbers of downvotes. Feminism. China. Anything related to Gaza (pro- or anti-genocide). Elon Musk. The list goes on and is often really bizarre when you see it spelled out.
