  • The whole premise of NATO extension is fake. Why are you parroting that point, what’s up with that even? At most, it’s defensive equipment, and I don’t see how it hurts us, but as a political bargaining chip, I could’ve demanded something in return for denying our attacking capabilities. I guess, it isn’t even counted, that USSR and then Russia made the same perimeter at it’s border.

Russian nazis, as fringe as ukrainian ones, are more of a problem to me, especially because at one point they’d become the priveleged class (as promised by the Pres himself) and I’d be sent to prison for deleting their noses and kneecaps. I’ve kicked one nose in, and they let it slide in the latter 2010x because the guy carried a fucking swastika. But now they are well-enabled, because nazism is the fundamental brick to the current regime.

As a leftie, I feel myself very uncomfortable, because everything from queer issues to any sort of activism puts a darts circle on your back.

You can’t even spell such things, or someone would snitch on you and ruin your life. That’s the future you’d like?

  • That’s what I drink rn: https://files.catbox.moe/gw54yf.jpg

You can look up exif data and search for the same picture to find exactly none.

I have a pass since I lived there for all of his presidencies unlike you. Sorry if I assume incorrectly, but I feel like you hate your own gvmnt, but at the same time ready to deny me the same right. People downvoted you because my opinion is popular in this /c/, right, and I downvote you because I’m fucking tired that you and the likes deny local voices, of people whose life got progressively worse, not because of geopolitical struggles between different civilizations\ideologies, but because of fucking greed and powerplay of these fuckung functioneers. You’d not like it there. And as a patriot I hate him and try my best to make at least my small circle of people live better.

Even those, who are pro-Putin and pro-war struggle to wrap their mind around the level of idiocy and madness that happens in our society, and it only grows. In, like, just material dimension, this bottle could’ve been priced at 200-250 roubles twenty years ago, and now it’s a bit over 700, while our wages haven’t grown as quick or at all. The same with a street safety since many faced PTSDed drunk soldiers like in the Afghan\Chechen times, neo-nazis having their time with everyone asian-looking like me and general thievery\extortion since many people are beyond the poverty line and get desperate. I’ve already fought with a couple of these dipshits myself as a guy with some experience, and that’s wrong to project my experience onto nation, okay. But I feel like there is a person who should’ve made all these problems if not non-existent, but at least bearable, and all he fucking does is hallucinating about overtaking the world and calling Trumpie for a chat. Thanks for fucking nothing, fuckass.

  • It is probable, but something tells me it’s consumer-grade too, without any special tinkering. On Chinese side, this issue is probably tightly controlled to keep profits flowing without getting into trouble. The only horse in this race for them is China itself and they keep the ideal distance to sit on both chairs: profits\influence and no sanctions.

As I’ve read in russian own telegram channels, a lot of drone stuff that is prefered by the troops (and not MoD) is purchased by either troops themselves or by crowdfunding volounteers, so there’s a decentralized source of demand with too little influence to impact chinese producers. I’m pretty sure it’s just offbrand game consoles with preinstalled emulators and an SD card full of old games, there are lots of them under $100. Probably, they have a custom bare ROM with just what they need, as I did heard they have a custom firmware for Mavics.

And when we come to MoD, I don’t think they’d make these figures visible. If anything, it’s more likely that the product is sold as ‘computer parts’ e.g. a working console without one screw that is screwed in locally. So they’d not show up on these charts even if it’s true. At least, that’s how ‘local production’ worked before with some GROUNDBREAKING INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS MoD showcased in autonomous vehicles and robotics department IIRC. Отвёрточное производство or ‘The screwdriver production’ is a name dedicated to just that, known well before even Crimea.

  • Linux lets\makes you interact with a terminal (and just OS tinkering) more, so you become a bit more comfortable with writing simple commands and then code.

One of the things for basic Python and default libs is sorting your Downloads folder into a more logical filestructure that doesn’t need reshuffling and searching for long. Move pictures into Pictures and sort them accordingly to the year\month you saved them for example. Make the script run once a week. Make it write a log file as it runs.

I did this one for the sake of it, but then I needed a piece of code to bruteforce the PDF file password protection, so I used a lib to access and resave this file without a password. On every attempt to open it, it inserted another password from either freely availiable databases of simple passes or well-known leaks (rockyou). It worked nice for PDFs I needed to crack to, actually, just print on paper, but also worked when I tested it with combinations of random words and symbols I came up with. I needed a lib to open a pdf, a list of passwords to try (althought, a bit pre-formatted), and a couple of victims to test on.

  • Wait, W H A T?

I think that you can hear, wherever you are, how my heart skipped a couple of beats and then how my PC roared with all it’s fans at a forced redownload of the beloved game.

P.S. Their sound design is always stellar. I already sneaked a couple of VTs pieces into my projects, hehe, and there they fit the new universe perfectly too. With all respects to Mick Gordon, the Witcher 3 of soundtrack composers, I can’t remember any new Doom tracks (besides BFG?) like I do old ExMx tracks, and like I do the melody of failure in VT2 that was put in one of it’s trailers.

  • You are right from a consumer standpoint and it also perfectly fits the sub we are in, heh.

I think that I’m of another type of gamer, maybe, and I in general learnt to enjoy that more than just good products, especially because of resulting comedy, drama and user content. Ranald’s middle finger, huntsman Kruber brushing the map off with a weapon turned into a minigun, never working host migration after someone ragequits, troll-healing Saltzpyre, accidentially throwing the grimoire for the first time, surprise patrols from the thin air… I don’t think I could’ve played that much time if not for these additional shenanigans and laughs after I stopped to care. And FatShark’s role there, with their overly ambitious early roadmap, hilarious miscommunications and\or absence, seemingly random decisions before they patch it right - that too played a role there and causes user engagement whatever they want it or not. It feels like your local punk gig: raw, honest, and only a drummer they share between all bands really knows how to play shit. Going into Darktide, I don’t have a community anymore 'cause fuck reddit, but dying to numerous bugs, watching all your bad decisions unfold in real time, and seeing teammates mistakingly shooting our Ogrin instead of enemy Ogrins is an on-brand fun of their games, and I’m all for it.
